While the Pokémon Masters was officially unveiled by Pokémon in May 2019, this game is yet to be released for iOS and Android devices. Pre-registration is now active in both the App Store and Google Play before the broad release of “Summer 2019”, but what if you want to play now?
While not as simple as installing an application from Google Play or the App Store, there is a way to play Pokémon Masters this second and how to do it.
When will the Pokémon Masters be released?
There is no fixed release date yet, but that doesn’t mean we don’t have a rough idea of when to expect the game. The official line is “Summer 2019”, but interestingly, the App Store listing for the Pokémon Masters indicates that the game will be released on August 28, 2019.
Pokémon has not confirmed this, Apple’s mobile pre-order pages have been the source of multiple release release dates in the past, so we’re sure they will appear on or around that date if the beta tests run smoothly.
These beta tests are currently underway in Singapore and Canada, so if you’re lucky to live in any country, you can download the entire game from the App Store or Google Play right now.
Those who live in the UK, the US, and most other countries around the world don’t have that option, but that doesn’t mean there’s no way to download and play Pokémon Masters. Right now. Keep reading and find out how.

- After installing and setting up a VPN, connect to a DNS server in Singapore or Canada.
Finally, you can open the Pokémon Masters and enjoy everything the game has to offer! When the game is officially released later this summer, simply delete it and download it again from Google Play – if you linked the game to a Nintendo account, continue should transfer.
